People say that vacations or holidays is a time full of relaxation and exploring new things in your life, right? Let’s breakdown a day on a safari in East Africa.
Always remember that a day on safari keeps changing from destination to destination. This is because each area has its unique views, people cultures and lodges. We shall focus on Eastafrica especially Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Safaris in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania are costed on full board basis inclusive of transport, full board accommodation and activities.
For example, in Uganda you will meet your guide at Entebbe Airport, drive to Bwindi, then to the Queen Elizabeth before ending in Kibale.
In addition, for Kenya you will meet your guide at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, drive to Masai Mara, then to Nakuru before ending in Amboseli.
Furthermore, for Tanzania you will meet your guide in Arusha, drive to Serengeti, then to Tarangire, before ending in Ngorongoro crater.
You will be in accompany of one guide and same vehicle throughout your entire safari. Whether you are in search of a particular animal or bird for hours, the vehicle and guide are at your service alone.
The vehicles are 4×4 since the National parks’ roads are marram and offer you an African massage. The vehicles are air conditioned for your comfort and also with an open roof where you can get a better view of wildlife.
If you are on a flying safari between different parks and game reserves, your day in Eastafrica will be slightly similar. Every morning, you will start it with a meet with your guide at the lodge going through the day’s activities.
Then later, he will transfer you in an open roofed vehicle for game viewing. However, you will be sharing the vehicle or car with other tourists or lodge guests.
Unlike the team of hot air balloon safari with bush breakfast the rest have to return to the lodge for there’s’.
On a game drive, this will last either 3-4 hours and once done then you return to the lodge for breakfast around 9:30am.

In addition, Full day game drives are also more popular especially in Kenya and Tanzania and a typical African safari will include one.
The full day game drive is adventurous as you spend your entire day in the bush.
