ITINERARY
Arrival
You’ll be picked from the airport in Entebbe and transferred to your hotel lodge in Entebbe by your private Wildlife & Rwenzori Mountains Challenge Safari guide. Accommodation before the trip is arranged at an extra cost.
DAY 1: Transfer To Rwenzori National Park
In the morning, your private Wildlife & Rwenzori Mountains Challenge will transfer you and your party towards the Uganda-Congo border as you view the equatorial snow peaks of the Rwenzori Mountain the third highest point in Africa, while the lower slopes are blanketed in moorland, bamboo and rich, moist montane forest.
Rwenzori Mountains National Park protects the highest parts of the 120km-long and 65km-wide Rwenzori mountain range. The national park hosts 70 mammals and 217 bird spieces.
Accommodation: Fort Motel ( Mid range)/Rwenzori View Guest House( upper budget).

DAY 2: Rwenzori Mountains: Hike To Sine Camp
Brief and start the hike to sleep at Sine Camp 2596 metres, the hike will take you through the tall forest trees of the Afro montane forest zone. This is a steady climb for about 6 kilometers then climb along a steep ridge towards Sine hut. There are beautiful Enock falls which are just 200 metres from the Camp and offer a splendid opportunity to capture a great screensaver for your memories. Covering 9.5km approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking.
DAY 3: Rwenzori Mountains: Hike To Kalalama Camp
Hike up through the Bamboo zone to Kalalama camp 3,134m, stop for a short rest then climb high before crossing a thick forest covered with hanging mosses to a small lobelia garden, and descend through a mossy ridge to Samalira camp at 3174 metres. The distance is approximately 4km with some good steep terrain taking approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking
DAY 4: Slope Down And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Descend down from Samalira Camp through the Bamboo zone to a heavily forest ridge home for many primates such as black and white Columbus monkeys and back down to the basecamp. Covering 10.8km which will take you approximately 6 to 7hours of walking. After this hike we calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari Camp (B-L-D)
DAY 5: Game Drives And Boat Cruise On The Kazinga Channel
The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant birdlife that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari.

DAY 6: Equator Water Experiment And Departure
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. In time you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your international flight. (B)
